The Jointworks - interior shot

The Jointworks is a new venture in Birmingham's Jewellery Quarter. Originally an industrial building housing silversmiths, platers and jewellers, the space is being rebuilt and redefined as a creative hub.

Branding and identity work for the project was put together by Luke Tonge, with help of Impakt and Winnie Nip.

I was invited to document the building, initially in its original condition. Building on Luke's visual identity, I put together a website to introduce the project to the wider creative community.

The documentation of the building will continue throughout the renovation process, and we are excited to be opening the building to artists and performers during this period.

The Jointworks is expected to open in early 2021 and will be a creative hub for a group of agencies and small businesses, as well as offering flexible working for freelancers and independents.
