A story about obsession. Northern Europe, Russia and the sea.
What started as a travel diary evolved into a series about Northern Europe, first in Sweden, Norway then later in Russia.
I became interested in the strong contrast between the built environment and nature, something that is more pronounced in these countries than can be observed in my home nation (UK).
The images were produced as 35mm prints, and selected with assistance of photographer and book maker John Blakemore.
