Little Histories was a project by artist and teacher Karolina Korupczynska that was centred around exploring art and art techniques with a number of students from Queen Alexandra College, Birmingham.
I was invited to deliver a photography class to the students, during this session we looked at how cameras and images could be used to tell stories. Following the session I was invited to participate in the programme to document the subsequent workshops.
The project culminated in the exhibition Encoding, Storage, Retrieval which featured a the works produced by the students during these sessions, and a selection of my documentary photographs taken during the programme.
Images were captured using a 1950's rangefinder camera that I had initially brought along in order to demonstrate an early version of the current camera 'form'.
