Over the past few months I've been thinking a lot about and experimenting with code-generated graphics.

Initially this was spurned by learning to write programatic code, and being inspired by the myriad possibilities that were unleashed by these new powers.

Sweets generator

The first thing I built was a pattern generator that produces a random mosaic of sweets.

This was followed by an interface that generates a gradient from a pair of inputted names.

I then put together another interface and a script that pulls in shapes to generate abstract graphic compositions.

The overall mission behind this is to fuse all of these concepts together, to produce something that is able to produce graphics from a given input.

Like a runner whose fitness improves much faster than their body condition, my ambitions currently outstrip my coding abilities, and thus the generator remains a work-in-progress.
